Lost operas of Albinoni

It's very sad that most of Albinoni operas burnt .
I can't understand why all music scores of Albinoni operas were only in Dresden library(destroyed at the end of WWII)?
May be music scores saved in other places?
May be now researchers found some parts of operas which were considered as the lost?
