Interesting new website on the history of the Pianola

I just found a a new website called The Pianola Institute. Although incomplete, one can still navigate several links. I discovered it while looking for information on the history of the Welte-Mignon piano rolls.

Today is Beethoven's birthday. Happy Birthday LVB! I always celebrate with the
second movement of the ninth symphony. Did so this afternoon, Szell conducting.
Not my favorite. Leibowitz came close, though.

Fagotterdämmerung

  I love music automatons. Music boxes, player pianos, barrel organs, Pierre Boulez... All great. It's nice someone's organizing a dedicated website for the Pianola.
