Can anyone identify this piece of music?
It sounds a bit like a Strauss waltz.

It's in fact from Strauss' Kaiserwalzer; the 4th (and last) waltz of the chain before the coda, IIRC. (We violated this piece with the high school orchestra 25 years ago...)

I just found it myself, in the middle of the Emperor Waltz.
