I do not want to recommend watching porn, but watching non-violent non fetishist porn with real humans involved might count as progress compared to getting aroused by fetishist cartoons...

A more personal advice (to some) might be: grow up a little, get rid of all those Teenage Kicks and start thinking of the other sexe as (mature) WOMEN instead of (childish) girls.

Yes but in order to do that they must first grow up out of their own immaturity and childishness... and some cases might just be hopeless...

I've decided to stop with tweeting to young and good looking girls on Twitter and Facebook. Had a negative experience, which reminded me I'm turning 36 this month and I'm too old for it.

Yes, I feel growing more mature. Maybe stop with all these kicks. I have a lot pictures of sexy girls (not too young) and women on my hard drive, but collecting more doesn't feel good anymore. I'll use the stuff I have though for the mindmaps I create with Prezi. It's part of my history, so it's good.

I'll keep on with Pinterest as well.

Because how can one not love things like this:

The all too sexy pics go into a private wall, to seperate things to my judgement and to censor myself. :)

Of course.
I did not mean to refer to fiction or fantasy, though, but to real life.
In general: if, in real life, a (mature) man keeps thinking and acting like a (immature) boy, a (mature) woman might lose interest soon.

Agree.

However one can still love young girls if one's mature. Maybe Nabakov was one of them.

I think however I won't consider it. I really feel some sort of gap now between me and young girls, that wasn't there a week ago.

What the actual fuck? Are we saying that just because Nabokov wrote Lolita, that means he supported pedophiles or was a pedophile? This is terrifying.

And just so you know, Nabokov's wife, to whom he was devoted all his life, was only 3 years younger than he was.

+1.
Quote from: V.N.Lolita is a special favorite of mine. It was my most difficult book—the book that treated of a theme which was so distant, so remote, from my own emotional life that it gave me a special pleasure to use my combinational talent to make it real.
Quote from: V.N.I would say that of all my books Lolita has left me with the most pleasurable afterglow—perhaps because it is the purest of all, the most abstract and carefully contrived. I am probably responsible for the odd fact that people don't seem to name their daughters Lolita any more. I have heard of young female poodles being given that name since 1956, but of no human beings.

Well, Shakespeare wrote Macbeth, and he certainly killed a notable royal while sleeping as his honored guest  8)

Is Lolita about a pedophile? Didn't read the book, but I thought it was just quite innocent.

Oh yes, a very erudite and (satirically) professorial pedophile, who (in essence) abducts a 12-year old.   $:)

Ok, already found some information.

Let me make clear I'm not a pedophile. These guys must have a hard life, unless they actually practicise their sexuality. Even just masturbating. I would certainly sterilize myself if I was. What a relief would that be!

Let me be clear. I mean with "young girls" no childs, but girls who are mature enough for sex with one other.

I myself was a young guy a week ago, now I've grown an old guy / adult (maybe some hours to go yet however). :)

Things go wrong again. I feel myself be accused of the most terrible things. Once more things get related to Nietzsche.

Shouldn't have written this, if I don't know what I am talking about. A lesson for me.

Nobody here is accusing you of anything (well, apart from speaking of Nabokov as if you knew what you spoke of, but you clarified yourself already), Henk. Take it easy.  :)
