Just came home from a very good "Rhythm & Blues" night in my city, Groningen.

Gov't Mule was one of the main bands. Great band, I've discovered them lately. :) Some problems with technics, so they didn't really got on steam, but still. They did "The thrill is gone" for BB King, because he's in the hospital.

Their new live recording "Dub side of the mule" is great. Maybe the greatest rock band in these times. Rock is their main style, but they also play reggae and blues. Southern rock.

'The 'I' is not prior to the 'we'.' (Jean-Luc Nancy)

'... the cultivation of a longing for the absolute born of a desire for one another as different.' (Luce Irigaray)

Gov't Mule are quite good, although I like Warren Haynes work with the Allman Brothers Band much more. I don't listen to Southern Rock very often but when I do Allman Brothers hit the spot, especially their older material.
