For some reason, ever more places want your name and/or your e-mail address, even if you just want something simple, like a drink at Arby's, or...a haircut.

Two days ago, I went for a haircut, and immediately the cashier wanted to know my name and e-mail address!

So I have started saying "Aloysius" knowing that they will be startled and confounded by the sound of it.  When they hesitate, I then say: "Can I just get a haircut?  I'm paying cash!"

So, since I am sure fellow Ohioan Sarge does NOT want his first name known either, I have chosen Aloysius for him.   0:)
