I have been working on digitizing my CD collection for a couple of years now.
I like to include as much info about the tracks (soloists, orchestra, choir, director etc.) as UNSYNCEDLYRICS tags in the flac/mp3 files.

In the booklet of William Christies 1989 recording of Charpentier - Te Deum H.146, Missa 'Assumpta est Maris' H.11 & Litanies de la Vierge H.83 all the members of the choir are listed - but NOT the soloists names (they're obviously part of the choir, as is so many Suzuki Bach recordings).
I've tried to search Wikipedia for the names of all the singers I found 2 sopranos and one of each of the other voices with their names mentioned as singers. Does anyone know if the 5 soloists of the Te Deum actually is:
Veronique Gens, Noemi Rime - sopranos
Gilles Ragon - counter tenor
Jean-Paul Fouchecourt - tenor
Bernard Deletre

Help appreciated.

It looks like you might be out of luck there, Stein. I'd say the booklet itself would have been the most accurate source for information.

Here's the booklet:

http://www.arts-florissants.com/media/livrets-cds-pdfs/livret_hmg-501298.pdf

As you mentioned, the booklet doesn't specify any soloists, so I reckon you probably won't find the names of the individual singers for each track anywhere on the Internet.

I have sent a mail to Les Arts Florissants and hope to get the blueprint from them, but being impatient as I am, I've tried to find a solution while waiting.

Since only the 5 singers I've listed in my original post + the second bass in the choir, Jean-Francois Gardeil are being mentioned as soloists on the web, I'm pretty sure about them.

I've given up on the Litanies de la Vierge, H.83.  According to the booklet Pergolesi used 8 singers here.
My biggest soloist challenge seems to be in track 7 and 9 of Te Deum.

I have searched and listened to various recordings of the two sopranos on YouTube and other web sources.
It is my impression that Rime has a darker sounding voice than Gens.

With a what sounds to me as a brighter sounding soprano in 7 than 9 I am pretty sure Gens sings in 7 and Rime sings together with Deletre in 9.

Any disagreements?   ;)
