;) All are fine here in Verona, beautiful city !
By the way, another ballet that I really love is Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev, but it's obvious, is a masterpiece.
It is the most famous Romeo and Juliet, but there are 24 operas composed after Romeo and Juliet, the most famous lovers of the western world.  Besides Prokofiev,  Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Gounod, Massenet, Bellini works are must hear and probably many more.  This work has of course crossed the classical boundaries, through West Side Story first and all the way to Dire Straits "Romeo and Juliet".

When you visit Verona, its easy to visit all the wonderful churches and monasteries (St Zeno has a fabulous cloister https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_of_San_Zeno,_Verona, Sant Anastasia is a beauty https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sant'Anastasia_%28Verona%29)  , but the balcony at the "Casa di Giulietta", that another story.  Its really the most famous place on earth for lovers.

I hope you enjoy the site and hang around.  Much Roman ruins there in your town?

Thanks to both !  :)
The most famous Roman monument of Verona is the so called "Arena" an amphitheater where in summer takes place an opera festival.

I've been under it. Also at the Arena for Turandot. 8)

Welcome, Ludwig, and enjoy. We seem to share many interests indeed. And it follows from many of them that I would very much like to visit Verona - along with the rest of Italy. What is that painting in your avatar, by the way?

See you in the forum.
... I still have to explore the various sections to become accustomed.
