It just destroys me every time I open a new Fanfare magazine (errrr.... book?) and find so many Beethoven symphony reviews.
Under "Schuman", "Piston", "Harris"....usually nothing.

I mean I like Beethoven but generally agree that it would be much more beneficial to have some other composers who aren't getting the kind of attention they deserve more exposure.

A hearty welcome from a fan of the Mennini Cello Concerto (and many of the symphonies as well)!

Thanks, but I'm not that "new" anymore. I'm quickly beginning to decay.  8)

I wish you had simply pasted one of your STI posts as your introduction. A lot of them begin "Newbie here..."

Well, after over 13,000 posts on another forum, it really, really, really is sobering to start over with "number one"!  8)

Do they have anything like STI on this forum?

I just purchased a nice gold ring from Niebelung's Pawn Shop down here in Selma Alabama.
I believe it could it could be THE Wagner's Ring!
PM me for more details about the ring.
Serious inquiries only.

It may very well be THE Wagner's Ring because, as Rick Harrison famously said, you never know what's gonna come through that door.

Yes. I would. probably something by William Schuman. More in touch with my musical tastes.

The ring's been marked down drastically. Something about a curse.
