And why was Trump needed to allow a team of Afghani teen girls entry to the US?

Roy Moore needed a date?

Ex-Trump security chief testifies he rejected 2013 Russian offer of women for Trump in Moscow

He told Trump about the offer and Trump laughed it off. That's the testimony of Keith Schiller, the Trump bodyguard. This happened in Moscow at the Miss Universe pageant.

     Trump...5 women...Moscow...Miss Universe...hotel room

     We're halfway there, folks.

I almost want it not to be true, for the sake of my own TrumPutin theory, which is the best one in the whole world, trust me. Trump doesn't have to watch women pee, he only needs to be someone who plausibly would accept an offer like that, which Putin knows he really is, and we know too. That's my theory, it doesn't matter if it's ultimately is true or not. Putin got him, Trump is well got, that's what's true.

More people than ever have access to $75/mo Obamacare

This should be enough to restore your faith in human stupidity. Trumpists have been trying to death spiral ObamaCare with every tool in the book and not only is it more popular than ever they made it cheaper!

Ending the cost-sharing subsidies for insurers means that the insurance companies must raise premiums significantly. But because the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare, provides premium subsidies for lower-income consumers, the subsidies have had to go up along with the premiums.

"Effectively that action has created more subsidies for those who receive financial help," Joshua Peck, former HealthCare.gov CMO and co-founder of Get America Covered, a group that promotes the ACA, told Yahoo Finance.

Some of these plans will be free! Enrollments are at near twice the pace as last year. ObamaCare's kicking ass and taking names, especially taking names.

What a bunch of dingdongs Repubs are, they can't even be evil!

This appears to be Team Moore's defence:

My take: Jim Zeigler is jockeying for a Cabinet position.

Any official Trump-Putin meeting in Vietnam apparently cancelled.
Less formal talks will maybe still take place. Russians apparently more interested.

Belongs in this thread because our President says he sounds like a really great guy:

Prominent Republicans call on Moore to exit Alabama Senate race 'if these allegations are true'

Why don't they simply call on him to step down?  The way it is phrased, if he consents to step down, it is an admission of guilt, yes?

I mean, we're talking about the concrete-skulled doublers-down, here.

Sho 'nuff, not at al otherwise than the Prez himself would do, he declines the invitation.

Oh, goody, the "Vehicle to attack the Dems" continues to be the epicenter of the GOP's determination to stain itself ever deeper in the grain with disgrace.

Well, there you go!  The "I don't see any problem here" tack!

The most remarkable pushback came from Alabama State Auditor Jim Zeigler, who dismissed the allegations by saying that there was also an age gap between the biblical Joseph and Mary. "Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus," he told The Washington Examiner. "There's just nothing immoral or illegal here. Maybe just a little bit unusual."

Seems to me he is a graduate of Trump's school of attention gabbing.

I never heard of this guy and never would have.

Great to see a wonderful role model like Donald rubbing off on folks!

Mind you, this comes from the same type who readily label Mohammed as a pedophile because Aisha was a child bride.

Saving Roy Moore Isn't Worth It

QuoteI suppose it's good that some Republicans see this as a bridge too far. But it's a little hard for me to focus on that upside when you think about what they considered to be acceptable until now.

A list of the many righteous things Roy Moore has said about sex and morality

(Hint:  when he speaks of "An inherent evil against which children must be protected," he does not mean 32-year-old sexual predators—he means homosexuality!)

     Jonah Goldberg says this:

I am one of those naïve fools who actually believed that the conservatives who often talked the loudest about the supreme importance of character were sincere. The last two years disabused me of that.

I think this is nonsense. Trump did not cause the rot among Repubs, he's the outcome, and it took decades for it to develop as Repubs turned their backs on objective realty step by step all the way to middle class tax cuts that are increases and "such good health care" and climate change denial.

How is it that Goldberg didn't know how Ryan and McConnell punished the country for electing Obama twice? How doesn't he know the health care cut was necessary to pay the rich to be more rich and undo health care for millions of people? It didn't occur to him? It only happened the last 2 years?
