Hello all!

Hi there! I'm Charlotte - a.k.a. Figleaf. I like old vocal recordings, intelligent discussion, and classical music sites which don't keep trying to infect my tablet with malware.  :) Looking forward to chatting with new and old friends alike!

Welcome aboard, Charlotte! Who are some of your favorite composers?
“Music is, for me, like a beautiful mosaic which God has put together. He takes all the pieces in his hand, throws them into the world, and we have to recreate the picture from the pieces.” - Jean Sibelius

A warm welcome from France, and looking forward sharing your views about great voices from the past: Conchita Supervia, Catherine Ferrier, Régine Crespin....

We welcome all former TC members here.
"l do not consider my music as atonal, but rather as non-tonal. I feel the unity of all keys. Atonal music by modern composers admits of no key at all, no feeling of any definite center." - Arnold Schoenberg
