It's the theme of the second of Bernstein's 3 meditations for cello and orchestra (arranged from the Mass). I know its not that clear, so I suppose I could notate it if need be. Not sure about the Rhythm.

This is meas. 730-745 in the finale of Beethoven's 9th. It immediately follows the big choral fugue. The text is "Ihr stürzt nieder, Millionen? Ahnest du den Schöpfer, Welt? Such ihn überm Sternenzelt. Such ihn überm Sternenzelt".

English: "O ye millions, kneel before Him. World, dost feel thy Maker near? Seek Him o'er yon starry sphere. Seek Him o'er yon starry sphere."

Thank you very much! An astonishing sequence of notes to be sure!

Thankyou Karl - I can't remember where I stole it from...

Maybe there's no B for a reason.

I am reminded of the Sarabande of Bach's Fifth cello suite - that bare, pained little beauty. That does contain every semitone and in so few notes...
