At least it hasn't been brickwalled! I really respect him (and Neil Young) for that.

Recent Springsteen albums have been compressed and loud, so I expect if/when his old stuff is ever remastered it will cop the same treatment.  Neil Young seems to be a different story though.

Ella Fitzgerald - just pulled out my BIG box (16-CDs) of her complete songbook recordings - for dinner tonight, I decided to put on the two discs of the music of Harold Arlen - now listening to 'Stormy Weather', but much more comin' up!  

Well, this is a BIG box set and decided to be our dinner music until the end! 

Last few nights, Jerome Kern (one disc) & Rodgers & Hart (2 discs) - Larry Hart's lyrics are just so beautiful, imaginative, and clever - just wonderful music for us!
