David Coverdale's da man!

Speaking of Deep Purple, my girlfriend and I heard Fireball recently for the first time. Great stuff!

You already know I adore that album, George. One of the best parts is how they tried a couple of things differently, and it really made it stand out from the rest.

I don't know if I did know that. But I figured you dug that band.  8)

As for that Beck CD - Man, Rod was great back in the day!

Earlier today, Steely Dan - The 'Lost' Gaucho:

That was a really good album, better than the new Ulcerate imo (the latter got too samey for me).

My favorite Metal album this year was Suffocation's Pinnacle of Bedlam, loved both the music and the Book of the Dead inspired lyrics.

There's too much good stuff these days in the vast world of metal; I cannot really pick one best album, although I have been listening to In Solitude's SISTER a lot, but that ain't death metal.

Coolness.
