My Wagner phase was years ago, and quite short, and I haven't revisited either in a long time. While I cannot claim to be a great fan of either, I have fonder memories of Tristan und Isolde than of Parsifal, and the Vorspiel is of some personal significance for me, so I went with the former.

I, too, had a Wagner phase years ago and I believe I listened to all of his mature operas one after the other. To say I was burned out would most definitely be an understatement, but I had a lot of fun. Parsifal was one of the works that stood out the most to me as it was quite different from the others. One gorgeous musical line after another.

I voted Parsifal, but I do recognize that Tristan und Isolde is the more influential work.

This sums it up for me as well.
