Here's the slow, chorale-like romance from my fantasy for strings.

Peculiarly, I cannot hear it. Visually, it appears to progress, but there's no sound.

Here is the theme and the first 9 variations from this work. The theme has an east-European flavor to it (replete with augmented 2nd) and the variations embrace that. I'm working on the next few variations, trying to get some variety while adhering to the form.
