What is your one (and I know it is hard!) favourite food that you would eat on death row as your last meal?

Mine is roast chicken

dtwilbanks

I'm a sucker for a good pizza.

I'd probably go for coffee and cigarettes.

but my favorite food in the world has to be french fries.

Kullervo

My last meal would probably be chicken and yellow saffron rice. My mother cooked it all the time when I was younger and I enjoy it to this day.

Wild blackberry pie w/vanilla ice cream

If I were facing death, I wouldn't be able to eat. When I'm anxious or upset, I can't face food. And I'm guessing I'd be more than a little anxious and upset ...

Don

Broiled Filet Mignon - very rare.

surely you couldn't have coffee (espresso) and cigarettes without a good film (perhaps the guards and their silly earnestness would be entertaining enough, but probably not)?

I would ask for blinis.

True, my life wouldn't probably make a very good film  ;D (based on the flashing of your life before death myth )
A Cassavettes sketch at best  ;D

You've experienced a near-death episode? Wow! :o

Starting from the dessert I'd probably choose Torta di ricotta or perhaps Pastiera napoletana.

Pizzoccheri or pasticcio di pasta would surely be included as well.

Fondue à la bourguignonne.

I haven't but as Woody says "It is impossible to experience one's death objectively and still carry a tune. "

No I mean, I'd be surprised if you could remember your stream of (un)consiousness at the time of the instance.

Mozart

A bowl of raisin bran for good digestion.

cx

Some spiedini (made the way I like it!), or other starter containing prosciutto. A well-made, tasty pasta dish (putanesca perhaps). An espresso and a canoli. A cigarette. (Subject to change before my death.)

Having said my original choice, it might actually be a toss up between that and a cheap chinese take away. :)
