Hi All
I'm Judith and live in Leeds UK

Loved classical music since childhood but took it up seriously four years ago and realised it is a world.  Love most composers with favourite composers being Brahms and Schumann.  Fascinated with the Schumanns and Brahms involvement with them.

Adore Joshua Bell and Steven Isserlis.  Met Steven twice at recitals and he was lovely.  Seeing Joshua live in three weeks.  Also love Stephen Hough.

Well looking forward to being involved in this forum and hope you all have a Happy New Year.

Welcome aboard! I can't I'm the biggest fan of Schumann, but I enjoy a lot of Brahms' music. As your presence on this forum continues to flourish, you'll notice two things about me: 1. I'm a moron (always prominent within each post of mine) and 2. I have a strong preference for late 19th up to mid-20th Century music. I hope you enjoy your time here and please don't hesitate to jump right in wherever you want!

Pay no attention to that comment: our Mirror Image is quite fascinating and highly intelligent, and NOT in a clinical way!  $:) :D

And if you like Robert Schumann, you MUST hear the ultimate performances of his symphonies:

And if you like Schumann, you might want to try one of his favorite composers: Jan (Johann) Kalliwoda:
