And although you're probably already aware of it, the Associated Press blog is a worthwhile visit https://apimagesblog.com along with their homepage http://www.apimages.com - I'd go as far as saying that the AP now a stronger pool of photographers and editors than there has been in quite some time.

There are lots of wrong attributions on the web, lately I saw a good deal of examples of landscape colour photographs that one could buy - but they were from other places than it was advertised ...

Yeah, it's quite a normal occurrence to encounter mislabeled items when searching photos via Google or whatever search engine you're using.
