Any amateur entomologists here? I took pictures of this little guy who visited my milkweed garden today and I can't identify what he is. At first, I thought he was some kind of wasp, but after noticing he has a proboscis and no stinger, I'm guessing he has to be some type of lepidoptera. An unusual moth, perhaps?

But the question is, do they love you back? That's an issue I've been dealing with.

There has to be a place where you got those photos... unless you made them yourself, then I'd be impressed!

I would be, too! I saw them on line, but hotlinking doesn't work with the site they appear on.

One of my favorite jazz groups of all-time: the Bill Frisell Quartet -

From left to right: Kermit Driscoll, Hank Roberts, Bill Frisell, and Joey Baron.

Interestingly enough, it was through this quartet that I was introduced to the music of Aaron Copland and Charles Ives.
