Okay you know my liking for Franco-flemish he was one of the Flemish composer that anticipated Carlo -Gesualdo and Monteverdi music, and an excellent Motets composer, Motets the quality of Nicolas Gombert, this is telling, he was that great sound architech and visionary.

His work speak for them self College Regale ensemble did an absolutely amazing job whit his Motets (on signum Classics) and for madrigals , would really love The glossa CD  of La Venexia ensemble La Gerusalemme Liberata. He is one of my favorite composers by far, hiis music fluid,, elegant, refined, rich in the colors palet of sound he use, I have all Giaches de Wert and expecting an LPP on Vanguard, a release of 1969, Music of the court of Mantua, got an interest whit composer that made in in Mantua, he a fine composer, he lead the way  for composer to created Baroque, in 16th century now that a lot an impressive!

I want people to listen to him,, not just once but twice, if you know what I meanhe firmly believe he one of the greatest, whit Phillippe Rogier, Jean Lheritier, Jacquet of Mantua, Lambert de Sayve ,

I have that Glossa/Venexiana CD and frequently listen. It's excellent.
But my collection of Renaissance music isn't that large, and it's the only de Wert recording I own.
