My action as to these albums which I owned in the days of LP may tell what I prefer. I culled all the albums when I left the vinyl age, but reacquired Dark Side of the Moon on CD.
Reality trumps our fantasy far beyond imagination.

San Antone

I know my favorite PF album is not popular with most of their fans, but nonetheless, it is my favorite: Ummagumma.  (And thanks, Karl, for the reference.)

I have a crystal clear memory of hearing it when it first came out, and loving the unexpected music.

Me too
I also liked 'Meddle' especially the track 'Echoes'
I have a soft spot for 'A Saucer Full of Secrets' too.

I no longer own any P F albums, but the early releases are sorely underrepresented in the poll.

Tie between Meddle and Ummagumma here. Tie between One of these days and Careful with that axe, Eugene for my favorite Floyd tune.

Who can be cooler than this?

Not Floyd, but this is good. Sounds like real Floyd to me.

I have A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and that always was enough for me. In fact I'm of the two people who opted for "I don't care...".

So far, nobody has mentioned Atom Heart Mother.

It's good (I like all of the early releases more than any of the titles listed as poll candidates), but not at the top of my list. That said, I'll now go and listen to If...

I tend to favor early Floyd, the first decade from Piper to Animals.

Yikes. I guess that sums it up.

I went for Wish You Were Here which followed on very well from DSOTM

The condition would be to have my memory wiped, as I have listened to far to much PF in my youth

Dark Side of the Moon is the best album, but everyone has overplayed it

In my 20s (still in the period of "misspent youth") I went with some mates to a midnight showing of The Last Waltz, Magical Mystery Tour, Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii, and a fourth movie which eludes me (Led Zeppelin, maybe) Seeing them sober seemed not to be the point. Now, curious to revisit the Floyd movie, I have done so. That first time, decades ago, I did not do the film and the music justice. Dashed good, I think it now.
