For me this slowness started 5 days ago, early responder I guess,  ;D but honestly it's true, 5 days ago it took ages before the site responded, and it got worse, gravely so.

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Again, an enormous amount of BOTS, don't they have better things to do as to spam GMG. But the server on which Rob drives GMG is also to blame. I get constant warnings from Google that this site is not on good server, and wants to blacklist it.
