At least you didn't buy it twice.

Yes, except for the few huge boxsets (Rubinstein, Bach Complete, to name two).
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

I once bought the same CD (Fiorentino playing Bach English Suites) 4 times. So I decided to give the extras away to friends. I accidentally gave ALL FOUR away...

I usually steam things that are on my hard disk because, why not send a few extra pennies to the people who produce the records, and because it's easier.

Hey, you guys who voted "several times over" and "at least once each" ---why don't you identify yourself? Is it shameful?  ???

My response is largely in line with this. Few of the boxes I need to catch up with are genuinely huge, apart from the Bach flash drive.

No, especially because I haven't listened to all the recordings of Italian Opera I have yet.

No, only to approximately 3/4 of it.
Reality trumps our fantasy far beyond imagination.

I've listened to almost everything at least once except:
--stray DVDs inserted into CD box sets that I wasn't interested in
--a bunch of opera DVDs
--the various operas and sets I've purchased in the last few weeks, which I'm working through now
--these three boxsets

--these two sets, each of which I've only heard about 2/3rds

One can see a commonality to all of those. Part of the reason is that I prefer to listen to an entire opera at one time, no matter how long it is.

Wow!  I am surprised!

I am - so far - one of the two for Answer #1!

Parsimonious by genetics and nurtured on Uncle Scrooge McDuck comic book adventures during childhood 70+ years ago, I do not buy anything, which I have not tested first!

I have received gifts of recordings of some works unknown to me, but even those have been played more than once.

Well, I was in the Cub Scouts for a year or so!  Does that count?  If so, yes!

I've done that, but only when the cover changed or was altered somehow.
