I just released my latest composition and would really appreciate some feedback and/or criticism. The composition was written with a specific topic in mind. What thoughts does this evoke in you?

It sounded ominous but not too dark.  There was a bit of defiance in there too.  I could see it used in a period piece or historical epic in a dark moment or montage like the Dunkirk montage from Atonement.

As for feedback, it is quite static.  Why not add more rhythmic variation as the crescendo builds up?  For example, keep it starting with long notes like you have but as it goes and gets louder, have more movement in the inner voices.  This adds to the crescendo and makes it more interesting to the ear since it is developing rhythmically as it does dynamically.
