Hi everyone,
I'm Skyler Clooney, and I just joined the forum today. I've been slowly drifting deeper into classical music over the past couple of years, mostly through late-night listening sessions and stumbling across pieces on random playlists. At some point, I realized I was spending more time trying to understand why certain recordings hit differently, so I figured it was time to find a place where people actually know what they're talking about.
My tastes are still all over the place; one night it's Scriabin, the next it's Renaissance choral music, and then suddenly I'm replaying the same Sibelius symphony three times. I'm hoping to learn more about composers I've barely touched, get some recording recommendations, and maybe even take part in a few discussions once I get a feel for things here.

Hi Skyler! Varied tastes are fine, there are fans of all those types of music on here (Scriabin for me) 8) .
