Mystery violin concerto

Those of you who were around during autumn last year remember the stir Manuel caused when he posted a 'mystery symphony' clip and drove a lot of people (but mostly David Hurwitz and me) utterly insane trying to figure out what it was. Eventually it was revealed to be the C minor Symphony by Aleksandr Kopylov.

The problem is, Manuel posted another "mystery" clip at the same time - and nobody even tried to solve that one. I discovered it the other day while playing "guess the composer" with a friend, and we were both stumped. Manuel never found out who wrote it. Mr. Hurwitz eagerly told me he'd give it a listen - and I haven't heard from him since. So, without further ado, I present:

the Mystery Violin Concerto. It seems to be distinctly late-romantic, like the Kopylov symphony was. Unfortunately, all we have this time is what seems to be the cadenza and conclusion of the first movement. (6 minutes)

Already eliminated by yours truly in a marathon session on the Naxos Music Library: Nielsen, Coleridge-Taylor, Wetz, S. Wagner (though I must say, Richard Wetz' violin concerto is sensational!).

I remember that. The power went off and I lost all the downloads that were in progress. Of this mp3, I recovered only fragments, and emule hadn't downloaded its tag.
