Tell us of your virtue(s), if such a thing still exists.  You can give a list of virtues in the form of anything from moral precepts to even physical attributes.

For me, I'll copy Zarathustra, since one of my virtues is plagarism (or at least honesty, if the former is not a virtue):

"My brother, when you have a virtue, and it is your own virtue, you have it in common with no one.  To be sure, you would call it by name and caress it; you would pull its ears and amuse yourself with it...

Better for you to say: 'Ineffable is it, and nameless, that which is pain and sweetness to my soul, and also the hunger of my bowels... An earthly virtue is it which I love: little prudence is therein, and the least everyday wisdom...'

My brother, if you be fortunate, then you will have one virtue and no more: then go you easier over the bridge.  Illustrious is it to have many virtues, but a hard lot; and many a one has gone into the wilderness and killed himself, because he was weary of being the battle and battlefield of virtues.  Lo! how each of your virtues is covetous of the highest place; it wants your whole spirit to be its herald, it wants your whole power, in wrath, hatred, and love.

Humankind is something that has to be surpassed: and therefore you shall love your virtues- for those will succumb by them.-"

I used to be very vain, but I've leave that stage, and now
I am perfect. ;) ;)

I'm very resilient. My gran has long said that, 'Where there's a will, there's a way.' This has stuck with me over the years and never failed me in hard times. I have an inate ability to bounce back (usually, stronger and wiser) from setbacks, no matter how large. I'm also an extremely optimistic person, constantly aiming to see some good in everything.

On the negative side, I can be horribly self-absorbed, and a tiny bit vain at times. Boasting of my achievements - an unattractive trait - is something I've sought to quell; and now that I'm a parent, I'm looking to cull my selfishness and develop the virtues of patience, generosity and tolerance. :)

I am able to recognize negative things about myself and change them. I also am humble enough to admit when I am wrong.

My theme song  0:)

ARTIST: Mac Davis
TITLE: It's Hard to Be Humble
Lyrics and Chords

{Refrain}
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror 'cause I get better lookin' each day
To know me is to love me, I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, but I'm doin' the best that I can

/ D - - A7 / - - - D / - - D7 G / - D A7 D /

I used to have a girlfriend but I guess she just couldn't compete
With all these love starved women who keep clamoring at my feet
Well I probably could find me another but I guess they're all in awe of me
Who cares I never get lonesome 'cause I treasure my own company

/ DG D - A7 / " / " / " /

{Refrain}

I guess you could say I am a loner, a cowboy all locked up and proud
Well I could have lots of friends if I wanted, but then I wouldn't stand out in a crowd
Some folks say that I'm egotistical - hell I don't even know what that means
I guess it has something to do with the way that I fill out my skin tight blue jeans

{Refrain}

I don't cheat during relationships - totally incapable of it. Shame that people who do cheat also say that they don't, so this has proved irrelevent in having more success than most people with dating.

In a similar vein (and uncommon for a man), I can't do one-night stands. Had dozens of opportunities, but just can't treat women like meat.

I'm very resilient.

That's something I could work on.  When I lose, I keep losing.  I get comfortable therein.

I just heard a wise saying: "When you're winning, act like your losing."

Insane physical courage...I say insane because it's almost gotten me killed on several occasions: on the ski slopes, on the battlefield. Having somehow lived this long I am now far more cautious....and I guess that too is a virtue  :D

Hopefully, you haven't entirely lost your former vigor, Hercules.

Is this a disposition (good ear, dexterity, etc.), or does it come with learned vitues such as work ethic?

Scriptavolant

I'm quite independent and capable of being alone, which I think is a good thing nowadays.
I don't fake orgasms.

I consider myself a good musician, with a good "classical" ear.  I never really understand jazz, for example.  I can play what's on the page, and like or dislike a jazz song, but can't really play a solo that is not "straightforward", but jazzy full of diminished intervals, and off-key notes.  Some people are amazing like that.  They'll play a  bunch of weird intervals and the melody will not even sound like the melody at all, but somehow, you are able to recognize what song they're playing.  I can never play that.  :)

But, yes, I challenged myself a lot in the past with learning new instruments and succeeded in doing that.  It's also funny, I don't consider myself a guitarist, for example.  Some people you just associate with an instrument, not me.  If somebody asked me "are you a guitarist", my first instinct would be to say "no".  Unfortunately, right now, I can only devote my time to one instrument at a time, and that is very sad.

By the way I feel like the right question is: you're a guy, how could you?
