Harry

When I started up the first thread, my motives were pure and simple.
I wanted to distribute the cd's I did not like to people that would.
That way this horrible waste throwing them away could be stopped.
Over the years I was fairly easy with that.
If someone is suggesting motives, so unlike the person I am, connect them with me, that hurts.
And as always from those of which you do not expect such a thing.
Well whatever, this is the following what I propose to do.
It is alas a sad thing but unavoidable that I buy many a dud cd, or better a fair amount of them.
Instead of throwing them away, and unable to give them to a library that doesn't want them, without me proving all kind of things, I suggest the following.
On the old thread are still the postings of the first batch, the Glazunov goes to George, he deserved that with his caring words, how he would handle them. ;D
The rest is still available.
PM me what your interests are , and which box you want, if possible tell me why, and send your address too, were to send it.
The list will be updated every so often, so I would like to send message of this too, to you, but do not know how to send one PM to many posters. But I am sure someone will explain that to me.
Cheers

Harry :)

The new erato

Think this is, and was, very generous of you. Fortunately my limitations are to do with lack of time rather than money, so you get no application from me ;D, but still a good initiative.

Thank you my friend, these words mean the world to me. :)

One thing I view as a problem, Harry. I simply don't see the list in the first thread. A part of it is quoted in one message, but that's all.

One of those mysteries of life, I guess. And here I was, perfectly willing to help solve your problem, too. :)

Hector

Harry,
       That is exceedingly generous.
My interest is in the, mainly, early Romantic and, really, anything after except chamber and serialism. I have enough of the latter to last me for the rest of my life, thank you.
Please PM me and if there is anything that you want that I may have please let me know.
Hector.

Harry

And remember, all is free from charge. No cost will be involved for the receivers. :)

What a kind thing to do; share the music we all love.

Bravo Harry!  :)

Heavens, Harry, what a generous offer.  Like erato, I have not nearly enough time (and too many CDs already), so I won't avail myself, but I think it's great that you are willing to do this.
