That Jochum I got from Operashare a while ago, I had almost forgotten about it. It's very interesting - quite a bit slower than in his two cycles (at least, it feels it). I'm so glad it was in a good birate (ditto the later posted 9th). Danke for the other links :)

The Jochum 8th seems to be movements 1, 3 and 4 only, with only a portion of the scherzo (8 minutes long) :P

Thanks, I hadn't listened to it yet.  I downloaded it again and it is the complete movement now.  I uploaded the complete scherzo here:  http://www.mediafire.com/?cmjedvzmdbf

I've seen several references to a live recording of Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 by Boulez/VPO, but I have not been able to find this recording.   If someone has it, would you be so kind as to upload it and post the link here?  Thanks!   :)

May 5th, '05? I have that in very low quality wma (55mb for the whole thing) if that would do?

I have that Boulez/VPO Bruckner 7th (though my info says June 5th) in better sound quality but my upload speed of 64K makes that bit of information pretty irrelevant. What is, I hope, not irrelevant is that you can probably buy it as CD-R from John Berky. E-mail him if interested.

I also hear rumours of a September 25th version. Hopefully that will emerge as well.

(FWIW, June 5 is correct, May 5 is wrong. The WP weren't even playing on May 5.)

Thanks for all of the above - great to see the thread alive again. :D 8)

MediaFire had some sort of crash earlier today - that's why orbital's links appeared not to be working.
