Says backordered.

But so does Bull Moose now.

I ordered from Importcd when it was even lower, $71 delivered, but mine too is on back order so we'll have to see.

This looks for me a bargain. 60 CD'S for 24,95 € at JPC de. If you want it be quick about it. Its likely to go very quickly at that price.

Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

Ivor Bolton's Bruckner set is now available for 19,95, another superdeal. Quite good performances too..

"You got yours with a 10% coupon."

No coupon, the regular price was lower for a short while, and the box has now been shipped : )

Not exactly bargain basement prices (7.99€), but some good deals on Analekta discs at JPC. Most of the James Ehnes issues are treasurable items indeed. Nagano's Beethoven is my favourite modern integral set. A great 9 cd set (17.99€) from the Gryphon Trio. Some Karina Gauvin, Luc Beauséjour, etc.

Harpsichord fans should grab the Graupner series by Geneviève Soly forthwith!  :)

Unfortunately Volume 1 is missing in that list.
Well I ordered Volume 2-7, and hope that I will find a cheap copy of volume 1 somewhere for a normal price.
And furthermore I hope that JPC will deliver all the volumes, for it is not sure that they still have them.
Why I missed this bargain sale of this label is a riddle to me.
Any idea how long this sale is going on?
F**k!!!!!!!

I don't know if there's an 'end date' to this sale. Probably until supplies last, I guess.

I guess I will plunge and go ahead with this curiosity:

Do listen to the sound clips. Tempi are faster than Reinhard Goebel's, which I did not think possible (nor desirable). But it all sounds so zippy, fresh and youthful. The Shostakovich interspersions are intriguing too.

Karina Gauvin's Anna Magdalena Bach album (with Beauséjour) is a gem. Elly Ameling still reigns supreme, but this is a good modern competitor.

Breitman/Rivest in the Mozart violin sonatas is a personal favourite as well.

It's a good choice, Andre;)

I posted my thoughts in the Recordings Consideration thread.

Also made another recommendation too.  8)
Wise words from Que:

Never waste a good reason for a purchase....  ;)

I rate Paavo Jarvi highly - so thanks for this (in a way***).  His recording of The Planets (Holst) was the choice in UK BBC Radio 3's most recent "Building a Library".  And it wasn't an easy disc to find....

(*** in a way because I really must moderate my CD buying habit ......if the Deutsche Harmonia Mundi offers is still on, I think I'm going to submit again (I must justify the delivery charge...).

That is indeed a good deal. I like all the recordings I have heard (Berlioz, Dvorak/Martinu, Bartok, Lutoslawski) and the repertoire is a nice eclectic mix. Telarc sound is usually unimpeachable too. I'm not sure what the NCA label is, but if they are legal and ethical, buy with excitement.

NCA is the Membran label that actually is legal, ethical, on the up and up, etc.

Thanks, Harry !

I chose a couple I can't afford to overlook. To all: the Debussy album by Rosenthal is an absolute must. Don't be without it !

Edit: the Shostakovich concertos album too, although most may already have these interpretations. If that's not the case, don't hesitate !
