That depends on if its a 'live recording' which will benefit from the hall's ambiance or a studio bound recording!

It sounds warmer on LP, especially compared to the anemic early 1980s digital renditions of 4'33".

If it is a live recording of the first public performance, I would grab it. It will always have an authentic air around it, even if it of course can be performed in many other ways.

Snap it up.  I once passed on a rare CD of it coupled with Marcel Marceau's greatest hits and have not seen a copy of it available since.   ;)

Yeah, it's my native language, dude. It also says that it should be available in a time ranging from 1 to 3 months. That's why, well, I kind of doubt that they will make good on their promise.  ;)

I can't believe it either. Currently it is available from MDT for £23.80. It is a fine box set, can't remember how much I paid for it but it seemed a bargain at the time.
