Orpheus  ;)
Ships in 3-7 months! Though, it is currently $1000+ on Amazon through MP, so maybe worth a chance if it could fund your purchases for a while...
Be kind to your fellow posters!!

Böhm's Ring Cycle for 16 Pounds (ex. VAT): http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003Y3MYYU/?tag=goodmusicguideco-21 (that's the GMG link)

I ordered it.   The total order came to $87.xx because of course I couldn't just stop with that.

They had the Bohm Tristan and Isolde for 8.33GBP excluding VAT, which also probably qualifies for super duper cheapness.

And I also ordered two Knappertsbusch recordings--Meistersinger with the VPO, which I think is the recording I had on LP many years ago, and the Naxos release of the Parsifal performance which reopened Bayreuth--the price for those was probably not super duper cheap but certainly erred on the side of being inexpensive.

BTW, for anyone else who orders, Amazon gives a shipment date of 10 to 13 days.

I've been saying to Ringless friends for some time now that there will never be a better opportunity to get the Bohm set - one of the great Ring recordings - for next to nothing on Amazon. And now, here is that unlikely better opportunity!

I got mine a few years ago when it was still released under the Philips label.

Saw that too, but it didn't qualify as per my criteria for SDCB status. ;D

How does that set compare to :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Frescobaldi-Complete-CD-ROM-Various-Artists/dp/B005910DMA/  ?

At first I assumed that the Brilliant Classics set was a straight reissue of the Tactus edition, but the Brilliant one also features orchestral/choral works, and I don't see any mention of Tasini or Vartolo on the rear of the box. The number of discs doesn't quite seem to match-up either...  ???

Oh, and many thanks Orpheus, that's a great spot, regardless  :)

Orpheus ;)

Superb SDCB.  Just ordered mine.  £9.46p delivered to the UK.  I don't think I own a work by Frescobaldi, so I'll be enjoying this huge set of keyboard works!!

Cheers for the heads up!!

I don't think India was on the list of destinations serviced by Amazon.com MP before; but now it is. This is not good.

Why not?  This is progress!  How about a new website Amazon.co.in?
