Has anyone been noticing higher prices on some items at Amazon? The Elgar collection on EMI is up to 42.78 from 36.10 for example. Holiday pricing?

UK prices started going up in some cases a couple of weeks ago. But something tells me that the prices of items that one doesn't notice (but ought to) would have gone down. ;)

I see what you are saying! It seems that wherever I go on GMG, I always seem to find this cd being discussed.... Maybe it's time for me to buy it as well.... ;)

Not one CD. It's actually a set of 12 being sold for the price of one (three-fourths even!), which is the reason it's so popular.

Ah, I see. Well, that certainly sounds like a good offer.

;D Well, it will at least go to my amazon wishlist, which has at least 400 other cds in it.... :)

It is never easy to prioritize CD's on the wishlist.

44.99 at JPC. But I imagine this will get better in price, though it could be a wait.

Oh, sorry . . . that's the Frescobaldi? I've got it, and I love it.

Somehow I thought the Strauss box was being disavowed
