I suppose this is a man listening to his CDs twice - one playing from a speaker above him, and the other from his left?

I plan on ordering that Secret Labyrinth box--it's only been on my wishlist for over a year now
But poking around I found these two that seem good deals, and I will probably be throwing them into the cart to help justify the shipping charge.

Sinopoli's Mahler for  19.99 Euros

The 15 CD Leonhardt Edition for 18.90 Euros
From what I remember these two items are listed there for considerably less than on Amazon US/MP.

Run, don't walk! I forked over a C-note and have never regretted it. One of the best integral sets.

Don't worry,  I ordered it almost immediately afterwards.  Results in the Purchases thread.

Meanwhile, on another front,  Arkivmusic is now offering (through 8/5 or so) the 3-CD Herreweghe/Bach set which Harmonia Mundi issued last year, for $11.99 each, or $9.99 each if you order at least three.  So I'll put the four I didn't get last year for about twice that price in my cart there.
That's basically each one for the price of 1 CD or less, so even though I'll be duplicating some previous purchases--I have some of the individual CDs in their original or HMGold incarnations, which is why I didn't get two of the four last year--it's a steal to get these now.

The Toscanini box set is just under £75 from a number of market place sellers on Amazon UK.  Some complaints about 1 of the disks, but Sony are doing a disk replacement programme apparently.

With amazon.com pricing this does not seem like super-duper cheap, but I got it for 16 pounds (without VAT) on amazon.co.uk.  All 6 discs of Franck Bridge as recorded by Hickox.

.....and get the full set of Ciccolini's Satie.

There's a 5 CD box of these on the new issues list for August. Cheap.

A "welcome back" is in order, I think. :)

It's the fourth time that collection is being released, with the last one coming out not very long ago.

I meant the set of 5 CDs, of course.

Of course. I thought this a particularly absurd example of EMI's constant recycling of recordings, so I threw in all the other issues too.

is the one I have.  I was going to simply say "the one with the top hat", but realized that there's more than one that can be described this way.   Unless you call it "the top hat in your face cover".

In this particular case problem is multiplied because Ciccolini recorded complete Satie for EMI twice: analogue late 60s and digital mid 80s set.

These are analogue 60s

Not sure about these, different sites give different dates

These should be digital
