It looks like Amazon.de are now selling the Brilliant Classics 50CD set of Bach Cantatas for 21.97 euros.  Lets hope they are not as quick to cancel as their French counterparts.

My reaction exactly. I like it overall, but it is spotty.
When the big box went OOP i listed it for an absurd price, $430, which was 150 less than the next price. It sold!
Paid $82 for it ...

The only other superbargain set is the Rilling, which I think is even more inconsistent.  The better traversals are so expensive.  I really need to start collecting individual recordings of my favorite cantatas from my favorite performers.

I'm not that much of a HIPster. The vibrato isn't wobbly from weak voices. It's well done and by choice.

That Wand box is full of incredible performances I had never heard before. All I knew before was his Bruckner.

Veritable Bargain Marvin.  For a 'beginners do all' or for the cultists    Great price.

I got the Abbado Symphony Box for £13.51 delivered from marvelio-uk, I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere but it keeps popping up at the < £25 mark every other day (that's 2/3 the UK price of > £75   

Good one to look out for but one has to keep checking Amazon MP marvelio-uk.
