Email received this morning:

"Your Amazon.com order of "Handel Edition" has shipped!"

And apparently my purchase of the Handel entitles me to a $1 promotional credit on any digital music purchase .... It's a weird world alright.

See, exactly like I told you--just about 10 months later than I predicted.

Wait til you get it! It really is a treasure chest.
It's all good...

And regarding importcd, there are some incredible incredible bargains like the Dutoit/Berlioz set (17cds for $23) and the Karajan Symphony set (38cds for $18). The latter is probably 1/2 of what I paid for mine a few years back.

The Karajan Symphony box is really an amazing deal, although it seems to be backordered: http://www.importcds.com/symphony-edition/028947780052

Picked this up for just under £6 which is OK when you get the free delivery over £20.

Probably overkill, but you can't argue its marvellous overkill.  10 Rites for 60p each
