I watched the weekly debates those Limeys have on C-Span each Sunday and cannot get enough!  As an American, I find it fascinating that the Prime Minister has to address the other party like that and then give/takes all sorts of barbs.  The Congress is usually a pretty dull and boring place in comparison, lacking that kind of quick witted and sustained attack.

I'm sure that if George W. Bush had to enter that type of environment that he would never have been elected president because he would never have been able to instantaneously defend himself and articulate his thoughts while debating.  Perhaps other presidents might not have been elected, either.

Who knows; anyways, I think the British system far more entertaining.   :)

This muast be Prime Minister's Question Time when the Prime Minister comes to the Commons once a week, Wednesday lunchtime, to answer questions that can range from: "Does the Prime Minister think that all is great and lovely in this Great Country of ours?" (yes) to "Does his minister's failure to declare contributions from anonymous donors symptomatic of his government's systematic breakdown?" (No)! ;D
