I managed to snag these for $12 and $11, respectively, with the former on vinyl:

I've been searching for the former on vinyl for a little while because I love the cover.  Both are semi-rare and generally run for $20 +, so I was lucky on both.  It's been a good week. :)

I was also in the mood for a taste of Indian Classical, so I dug up Josquin's thread on the subject and ended up with this:

While I was at it, I decided to fill out my reggae collection with three easy to find but important albums:

And somehow or another Gran Torino worked its way in, too.

Looking forward to this as a great fan of the original album, even having it on LP; fold-out newspaper and all.

Congrats, Bill! Perhaps next year you'll get a machine that makes coffee.  ;)

This site really is great fun to read; in this, certainly, true to the original album.

QuoteOld-timer Ian Anderson (64 and ¾) has embarked on a round-Britain mono-cycle race prior to his world tour performing in concerts with his pop group. His recent concerts in a deep, disused salt mine in Germany and at the High Groovers Disco and Rave Klub in La Paz, Bolivia show his age doesn't slow down the extent and breadth of his efforts. Anderson is a quite contributor to a number of local causes and has organised the Pensioner Bell-ringer Troupe in their seasonal rounds of the village.

Found some interesting stuff in the bargain bin, 5 for 20 euros.
The fifth was the 5 CD set of Vaughan Williams symphonies on EMI  :D

Faith is a great album! I strongly recommend his Listen Without Prejudice, it's one of my very favorite albums.

I'm finally giving in and ordering a PS3 early next month and want to have some games ready when it arrives. :)

Littlebigplanet is a fantastic game, Geo Dude. The first one I mean (I haven't played the second one unfortunately). You might want to check out the Uncharted games as well.

Speaking of PS3 games, just bought Max Payne 3 for $39 with free shipping off of Amazon (they must be having some kind of sale):

Don't worry, I'm aware of the Uncharted series.  A two-pack containing the first two games and the third game are wish listed for the future.

If you wait around long enough, it might turn into a 3-pack. :)
