Fcuk y'all, I'm an unabashed Laker Fan, Kobe fan, Derek Fisher fan, Chick Hearn fan, Magic fan, Kareem fan, James Worthy fan etc., etc,  and I was very disappointed. The Celtics were certainly the better team, starting three all-stars, and displaying a lot more heart and intensity. Give 'em credit, they deserved it. I was glad to see KG finally get his due, as he has been one of the most entertaining  and talented big men in the NBA in recent memory. My first and foremost wish in these playoffs was granted--specifically that the biggest Sominex tablet in the NBA (i.e., the Spurszzzzzzzzzzzzzz) were spanked by the Lakers and didn't reach the finals.

While the Celtics have three bona-fide all stars, the Lakers have one (Kobe). Aside from him, they have a kickass point guard (Derek Fisher, one of the classiest people in all of professional sports) and a bunch of other guys, who may or may not show up on any given night. I'd keep Kobe, Bynum, Fisher, and probably Farmar and Vuyacic, but anyone else would be expendable IMO, if a good trade could be made.

AND it never ceases to amaze me how the media constantly use the phrase "sat on the runway", every time a plane (e.g., the Celitcs') is delayed at an airport. Think about it people, LAX has FOUR runways in use: 25L/7R, 25R/7L, on the south side and 24L/6R and 24R/6L on the north side, and last I checked LAX was the 5th busiest airport in the world. Do you really think controllers are going to let any plane not involved in an emergency sit on the runway for four hours????  ::)
