He just came to the Royal Theatre here in Victoria, BC. I didn't go, but I do remember the hype he generated maybe A YEAR ago with the performance you posted (it wasn't American Idol though). :) :P Apparently he had previously had masterclasses as well, the little cheater.

It's a shame he's only mediocre, as another Pavarotti is more important than more Il Divo.
