Try a paintbrush, some oil paints or acrylics, a palette, and canvas or paper.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. You've only just begun to try at Hebrew, after all - I'm sure Saul doesn't expect you to be as fluent in it as he is in English, after all his years of immersion in the language.
