BTS

Hi, new today on this forum. I am 45 years old and living in Norway. My parents often played classical tunes when I was a child and that tunes become to sound very very
good to me for about 20 years ago. I listen to a lot of music, have a bit more than 2000 CDs
and in classical music its the historical recordings that attracts me most.
The first CD I bought with classical music was Handels Water Music with Bath Festival Orchestra and Yehudi Menuhin conducting. This is recorded in 1963 and the label is EMI. And I was hooked.
Some favorite composers are at the moment: Saint-Saens, Vaughan Williams, Tchaikovsky.
Not so wery intrested in Mozart and Beethoven, except for beethovens 5 piano concertos, his Missa Solemnis Op.123 and Fantasia in C for piano chorus and orchestra Op.80
So, here I am, in my first musicforum.

Best regards

Welcome, from someone not in Norway!  ;)

Welcome from one of your neighbouring countries. I LOVE Norway, especially the middle part of it, but your country is bloody (oily, rather) expensive! Also, all Norwegians I have met outside Norway have been great companions.
