Look again.

Oh I see now, at the time I thought you were writing worst to best, if you were going best to worst then yeah I completely disagree with you. :D

I was just stating my top three. Y'know, I don't think I've even heard Defenders.

Oh well I don't know, that was like a year ago.  All I know is that Screaming, Defenders and British Steel are my favs.

Defenders of the Faith
is alot like Screaming... Differences include the borderline speed-metal/Painkiller tempo of the vicious "Freewheel Burnin'", anthem-esque (in the good way) "Rock Hard Ride Free", and almost radio-friendly second half (well, except "Eat Me Alive", a track you need to hear to believe...killer!). The guitar work on the Science Fiction themed "Sentinel" is really excellent (as on much of the album), and Halford screeches up a storm. The problems with Defenders include a couple of bonafide "dud" songs (though even those can be fun in a Scorpions way), and a drum sound that's as sterile as Witch Hazel.

What was the name of the song on Defenders that has this huge drums that start off the track? I remember 'Some Heads Are Gonna Roll' to be a great song too (though I can only remember the chorus  :-[ )

You might mean the title track, orbital. It's interesting how that track is pretty much the only time one really notices the drums. I love that album!

YEs probably, the song is on the slower side and it might very well be the title track. Now that we talk about it I remember the chorus  :)

Hey, I remember now! It starts out "Heavy Duty", then seques into "Defenders of the Faith". Terrific music. "Freewheel Burnin'" was like a precursor to the mighty "Painkiller" track.
