That was lovely! One of my favorite pieces. Never heard Jackie play it, although Isserlis does a nice job. She brings out the passion. I think Felix' SWW were among his better works, so often overlooked. :)

The Songs without words are a collection of poems, stunning simplicity with great meaning.

Bumping this because a) the link above is dead, and b) it deserves to be bumped.  ;)

The video and audio both show their age, but it's still du Pré. While she was young and still developing technically, it's the real deal and an impressive rendition.
