Yes. Ancient Norwegian name meaning "Edge" - though I can't claim any relation ship to U2.

Had to google there....but no, just a general word for the edge of any kind of sharp instrument.

A former mayor of Oslo had Stranger (not too uncommon) as his last name, my dream has always been to be known as Odd Stranger.
