Yeah but a comedy about an astrophysicist in australia just wouldn't fly here in the states  :) They actually made 12 whole episodes on it across the pond :o :o :o :o :o :o

It didn't here either, I think. Almost everybody hated it due to the apalling script and it only made 12 episodes because they were made before any critical reception was given...

I loved the 2nd episode but it is a little radical. Page 7 God...Page 8 haha its not terribly funny but its somewhat entertaining and somewhat scientific.

How could I forget South Park. A superb program. They got really bad for about two series (somewhere around 6 or 7) where every show was preachy and heavy going, but they're back to their former glory now. They actually acknowledged this at the start of another series (maybe 8?) where they're commenting on Family guy and South Park...

Family guy is also extremely good.
Geologist.

does anybody remember the canadian "captain power and the soldiers of the future?"

One of the first shows to use computer graphics and animation.

One Foot in the Grave ranks high on my list, of the ones that have not yet been mentioned. Victor Meldrew is one of the favourite characters ever. Oh, apropos, great characters: Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances is certainly one, too.

The Office for me. The Love Story between Tim and Dawn was the highlight and the way the whole show ended with that 45 minute double special was the best TV Ive seen.

Also the obvious ones like Only Fools and Horses always make me laugh

And I have a big soft spot for The Real Hustle and Family Guy

The Office for me.
I love that show, too.

This is what i watch with my family during the week- (i might've posted this already maybe)
Monday- Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America, Heroes
Thursday- Smallville, The Office

Smallville has been on forever! I think i was in middle school when it first started... all the other shows are new, my favorite that comes on at night is Heroes. Actually, I'd have to say it's the best show that's ever come on TV around that time- i think it's a show that people here would like- complex, makes me you ask tons of questions, just amazing.

My favorite show now has to be South Park. Funniest show ever. After that, some of the anime shows i used to watch when i was younger.

it doesn't really go anywhere, really.....
the biggest thing that has happened, really, is that Lex and Lana got married, and now after craziness, Lana is with Clark finally this season, staying in the barn. Clark's dad died a few years ago, and his mom moved out last year. The show travels in circles, my dad's been saying for years he wants to see Clark become all powerful and rule the world.  ;D

Solitary Wanderer

Dunno about 'best ever' but I'm loving this at the moment:

Currently watching this on dvd boxset and its really exciting with fast paced action, plot twists and turns and a score of crazy characters.  :D
