I have a lot of music to learn, and the stuff I do know, I have to get it better. :)

Have to learn Schumann 2, and Dvorak's carnival overture for seating auditions, and my own stuff for my recital for next semester :)

Bassoon?
Drop the "oon" and you would be correct :P  I play the bass.

Dr. Dread

How often have I told Dr. Karl to drop the oon?  ::)

I seem to spend less money when I stay out of the music areas of GMG.  0:)

I had a fun mix-up on Amazon Marketplace just now. I received an email saying this:

"Thank you for your order from Better World Books!

We have received your order, which includes:
The Encyclopedia of Ships: The History and Specifications of Over 1200 Ships"

When in fact I had ordered the spectacularly differently titled "Anselm Kiefer: Velimir Chlebnikov and the Sea"

Mistakes happen, sure, but doesn't seem to be entirely random given the ship/sea relation, which makes it more puzzling as I am getting nosy wondering about exactly what happened, but don't want to pester them with silly details. Maybe they have similar covers or something :-*

WEIRD!

I've not had anything like that happen to me. Yet.  :-X

I once ordered Karajan's Symphonie Fantastique from Amazon, and got Gardiner's! But I liked the latter, so I kept it. ;D

Dr. Dread

Learning Internet terminology with Dr. Wiefelspütz (a german politician):
DNS, TLD, GAGA, GOGO, TRALAFITTI.  Period.

For the Germans: Reading abgeordnetenwatch.de/Wiefelspütz can be a good source of recreation and fun...
Abgeordnetenwatch.de is where german politicians/MPs answer the questions of the people.

There's a heavy debate over www censorship in Germany, because some politicians (who have close to zero clue about the Internet) found out, tEh interWebb carries some really evil stuff, so now they want to gain some control over it. At first only DNS redirection. Child pr0n is the "door opener".

They kindly told me the problem, and it is Amazon's fault somehow - another seller (powellsbookstore) seems to have put the correct title in their description:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1566199093/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&qid=1244649333&sr=8-2&condition=used

I guess Amazon accidentely merged a listing or something. Interesting, anyway :D
