Well then, don't say my name into the mirror three times.  0:)

Oh, I see that is what does it. Difficult one. My son is Dave, I go to thast small room to vent my ire, plenty of ire to vent. It saves his life on a regular basis.

I wasted time: and time wasted me.

Dr. Dread

I literally had a disc, which was near to hand, completely vanish to someplace else.

I blame demons.

For the average or most GMGer, it would not have been anything to get too excited about.  :P

Don't underestimate the glint of averace in the eye of the average GMGer!

ChamberNut, how long ago did you post at Beethoven? I posted there six years ago or so.

~~~
I HAVE MY PATIO BACK!!! (I'm sure you all are thrilled, just thrilled with the news! :D ) The yard guy has finally finished his work (which seemed to involve leaving a lot of stuff all over the patio, showing up and disappearing 30 minutes later, leaving me voice mail that started with "Hi, Gorgeous" :o, calling maple trees oak trees and mowing the lawn one blade at a time), taken all of his stuff, and left me with a cleared-out garden and more importantly, a clean patio!!
I thought the name 'Owlice' seemed so familiar!  :)  I started posting in Feb 2006, and stopped more than a year ago.  My moniker there wasn't ChamberNut, but 'Catmando'.  ;D  Every few months or so, I'll go and check to see what's going on, but don't participate on the forum anymore.  Another reason I stopped posting there is there was very little music discussion going on, only political mumbo jumbo.
ChamberNut, I've used the same moniker forEVer. :D I'm looking at a thread there now that I'd started in 2003; I'm now in 2006 posts and have another eight pages to go. I'm surprised the thread lasted so long; now I'm curious to see whether it, too, fell to political mumbo jumbo!
I've tried to recruit a few Beethoven Bulletin Board members over to GMG, but they are a loyal group!  :)
I see a thread you started there still on the front page of the forum! And is the Navneeth posting there the same person posting here under "Opus106," perhaps?
I read the "Malleus Maleficarum" - very interesting, e.g. in order to learn about our European tradition, finally. For the german speaking, I can highly recommend this one:
If you're into creepy little films, treat yourself to eight minutes of this:
It has its creepy moments, but on the whole I found it rather silly.
I haven't experienced shivers like that since I saw the BBC production of Schalcken the Painter back in 1979. Alas, only the first 10 minutes is available on Youtube, and all the scary stuff comes later, but if you're interested in C17th Dutch painting, you'll find yourself glued to it anyway (for reasons which will become clear as you watch).
Hm. Could be something I'd pick up. Of course, I've heard of it.
As a general thing, I too appreciate a piece of music, or a canvas, or a film, that 'makes me think';  but I am skeptical of employing 'makes me think' as any touchstone for good art.
