Half a heedless melon? The very thought makes you shudder, doesn't it? And 'what about the other half?' I hear you ask.

Half a heedless melon is better than none. Or is it?

knight66

Word association football....there is nowt like it.

ZB,

No idea how I got it and despite having it, I am not any kind of expert. So, I don't really have any good info to pass along beyond what I have said.

Thanks to you and Karl for your good wishes.

Mike

Or is it?

This, of course, is the Big Question; the one we've all been pretending not to ask. Heedlessly.

It just looks like a football. Really it's a melon.

karlhenning

The watermelon that can be explained, is not the true watermelon.

The damage done to tree bark by repeated impacts of heedless cantaloupes has been largely overlooked by forestry conservationists.

Why don't we have a 'chopping wood and carrying water' thread?

Because we're out chopping wood.

Alan,

I just can't imagine.

Ask greg, sounds like his territory.

Who are you talking to?

Mike was talking to me - but I missed it because I was out carrying water at the time.
Life, eh?

Elgarian

Alright then. So why don't we have a 'chopping water and carrying wood' thread?

Hi, Alan.

Hi, Dave.

Resolution
I hereby make this resolution. That I will not make any further CD purchases before August 14th 2009.* I declare this in the presence of at least two witnesses, Mike and Dave. So let it be. Let wood be chopped. Let water be carried.

*[Unless there's something really good in the Hyperion bottom ten sale before Sunday.]

Hm. I just purchased some tone poems. First classical purchase in quite a while.
